DALLAS, Texas – May 26, 2011 – Brad Purifoy, a Managing Director for Westlake Securities, has been chosen to serve as President of the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG), effective June 1, 2011. He will lead the organization as its President for one year beginning in the summer of 2012.
“ACG is the premier global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions,” said Purifoy, who has been an ACG Board Member for seven years. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to help direct the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter as it provides M&A professionals with rich programming, relationships, and resources that spur business growth.”
ACG is the global community for middle market M&A dealmakers and business leaders focused on driving growth. Founded in 1954, ACG has grown to more than 14,000 members organized in 56 chapters throughout North America, Europe and Asia. According to Purifoy, it is a great time to join. The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter has 531 members and will be the hub of high profile M&A events in 2011-2012, including hosting ACG’s Global Intergrowth event in April 2012, one of the largest M&A events in the world.
“Westlake Securities is a strong supporter of ACG and has been heavily involved in the organization’s leadership in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Houston, and Central Texas chapters,” said Randy Finch, a Managing Partner of Westlake Securities. “Brad will bring valuable vision, momentum, and leadership to ACG’s Dallas/Fort Worth chapter as it continues to expand programming and attract the area’s top business leaders with quality middle market relationship building and deal making opportunities not found elsewhere.” For more information, visit http://www.acg.org/dallas
